I just want to say a few words about actors...
ok strike that...wannabes
they annoy me. They piss me off actually. They're very delusional. Even after people tell them the truth...its like they don't believe it until they see it..
and then they become someone like me. lol. j/k...actually they STAY delusional..doesn't that bother you my fellow thespians?!
I dunno...its just something about these people in the industry that like to take advantage of people with real dreams and the dumbasses with no experience will fall for it. They seem to think that acting requires zero to little effort just because Lana Turner was discovered in a malt shop.
Its incredibly aggravating because yes, she and a handful of people were plucked from obscurity and turned into trained monkeys that get paid exorbitant amounts to do things that almost any idiot with stamina could do. They think there's nothing more to it than that and it just really annoys me that they don't realize that if they want to get anywhere it actually requires study and work and real effort, and in some cases actual talent.
People seem to want to make money fast and sometimes producers and swindlers can come on to wannabes like a get rich quick scheme. Yes I realize that the entertainment unions have it in for our best interests, but perhaps the SAG would attract actual talent more if they lowered their pay rates. Now I realize what I'm saying is relatively controversial, but think about it...if these people knew that the jobs they are going to get aren't going to pay that much in the end, they won't even put in the effort leaving it up to the starving real artists to create a valuable entertainment base. Wouldn't that be nice for a change? I dunno...something to think about.
