searching for the things to say
i think im gonna write a book about college. a lot of people, especially people who are going to enter college just dont have the right information to understand what the elements of college are going to be like. everyone reads those stupid books on how to do well in college and blah blah but that doesnt tell you how to really do well. they just tell you repeatedly to study. i think upcoming college freshmen need a book more for people their age and something that is not only education but appealing. the social elements are really important and no one really focuses on that part of college in their stupid books. okay..moving on
i have decided that going to my psychology of adjustment class is COMPLETELY pointless. it is some older man who rambles on about nothing or just reads out of the book, like literally looks at the book and reads. he repeats himself not only talking but writing on the board. its stupid. its just one of those classes you are gonna have to teach yourself. biology is acutally interesting. a bunch of freshies in that class though cuz its intro. so its amusing to sit there and watch all of them actually pay attention and ask a bunch of questions. ive only been to global connections and sci and tech(lbst) twice. lol oh well..im gonna go tomorrow damnit. research methods is probably gonna kick my ass cuz its a writing intensive course but oh well..nothing i "hopefully" cant handle. eur..i miss the summer where you can drink on a tuesday night and not give a damn. now you have your conscience telling you.."ashley you have school in the morning and then work..dont do it" my damn ego is annoying me. (ego as in the freudian theory of id, ego and superego)-ego is the reality check in your brain.
i cannot believe that next year at this time i will be a junior in college. its so weird just thinking that. i need to declare my minor...eur or second major..not sure what i want to do. im thinking religious studies or business. (i get the general gist of that thanks to working at Jason's Deli for 4 years) and i kinda wanna open my own business. Either a 24 hour diner(a real one like they have in the north) or a burger place that becomes like a local hang out...
i need opinions..should i keep my hair long or cut it back to about shoulder length? okay well im outa here.
