For Love or Money
Whew, my holy jesus!!! It is hot here today. Not really hot by East Coast Georgia standards but hot enough to make sleep difficult due to no central air and only a small fan to circulate the air. The cats are like three lazy lumps of fur uncomfortable and shifting from place to place to pretend to cool off. I honestly think that Tallie tried to hide under a blanket to day to cool off not understanding that it would only make her warmer. Maya has taken to playing a game with the ice cubes that we but in the girls water bowl to cool it off a bit for them. She is the only one of the three that has figured out that if you sit directly in front of the fan that it feels nice. The other too cats just are two hard-headed to figure this out. I am staying cool through evaporative cooling system of my own. Spray bottle of water and a fan.
The predicament of the week is my honey Kennis. He hates his job and almost quits or comes close to being fired on a daily basis. Not because he is bad at his job but due to poor job politics. The company he works for is screwing him over. I am very worried about him. I know that we will be able to make it if he leaves for a lower paying job. We will have to tighten the purse strings a little more but in all it should not be too bad. I can even take a second job. But his pride is getting in the way and I guess so is letting go of a certain security of steady work and a career. He just needs to know that I support him fully! In any decision that he may choose to make. I would rather be happy and poor over being miserable.
