"I'm fixing a hole where the rain comes in and it's making feel like..... %&@#!*"

Finally, I got fed-up with this issue that I have had since purchasing the boat back in August. Right over the helm, there was this large spot light handle that is used to help in steering the boat through heavy fog or dark nights. The handle is chrome and extends out about 10 inches right where you walk into the wheel house or upper cabin. I had my ole' friend Crispy over the other day, and yet again, he cracked his melon on it. Now, everyone that has made a quick visit over has cracked their head on this damn thing... if I did not for warn them ahead of time. I finally, yanked the whole device out. Now I have a hole 1.5 inches wide right through but at least I don't have to duck anymore when I walk inside. I am fiber-glassing it as we speak....
Overall, things are fine on the high seas for now (I laugh...but not out loud). Nothing much to report. I am eating out and working on my 3D stuff away....all of the time due to now 5 days without no power. They are in the middle of switching power over to the new docks. I will soon have my own power box with 30Amps of love. It's frustrating but I am managing. Patiently, I have also been spending more money eating out than cooking as well. I spent 30 bux for a couple of brews and a crappy crab cake sandwich that was mostly made of lettuce and tomato. Marin prices yet increased again. Everything from a simple cup of joe to crappy sandwiches....If I was still living with friends or away somewhere...I would be completely broke. So... I count my blessings and my pennies for the next cup of Joe....
