Invisible Children.
So the Displace Me! event went amazing.
It started yesterday @ 3pm.
We had to bring cardboard, 1.5 liter water, 1 box of crackers, a sleeping bag and art stuff.
When we arrived around 4:30 they took our cardboard at the door along with our food.
We found a place to put the only belongings we had.
There were 7 of us.
Alex, Ashley,Brooke,Cody,Josiah,Phil and myself.
We were then informed we could go get cardboard to make a home.
so the girls stayed and watched the spot.
The guys went over to the fence and had to beg for cardboard.
they got a few pieces and we realized we could top it.
So the girls went.
We made sad faces at the people and they gave us extra.
So we finally took our stuff and let the boys start building.
it was around 90 degrees in orlando yesterday.
the boys buildt and us girls made crafts.
Then the first event started but the boys wouldnt come, they were too into their fort.
We finally finished our fort around 7-8.
Then they announced it was time for food.
So the women were only allowed to get water.
and the men were only allowed crackers.
so we had to share.
The night wore on...
people were dancings and playing bongos and having fun.
We decided to go to bed around 2.
I was awoken several times in the night to the roof collapsing on my head.
Woke up @ 7.
Cleaned up our spot and left!
