Detective Tightpants
Have I mentioned that we've been watching Castle? We only have the season finale left to watch now, and it's a most enjoyable show, not least because Captain Tightpants Hammer Nathan Fillion is great in it.
We've decided that there are two men who can properly pull off of being smug bastards and at the same time charming sweethearts. Those two men are Nathan and Robert Downey Jnr - his Tony Stark is a smug, womanising git, and yet... oh my word I'd be in his bed within a startlingly short time given the oportunity. Similarly, Rick Castle is a sod, but sweet and charming and entirely lovely.
Pleasingly, the three new US tv series that I've started on lately have all been renewed. More Castle (long may my new favourite UST continue!), more Dollhouse (I'm still only up to episode 7, but of course I want Joss to have something non-Buffyverse last more than a series) and the second series of True Blood starts some time this month in the US (has it already started, USians? Should I start looking for it to download?)
