Sweat, shoes and sushi

When I'm meant to be watching my pennies (to pay off my debts, save for a new computer and pay for my holiday in December) it is not a good idea to let myself be seduced by these. I saw them in the window of Yoma, my favourite shoe shop, and had to go in and try them on. They're utterly gorgeous, and the ankle strp means that they're not completely impractical, but I really can't afford to shell out £50 on a pair of fab heels.

We had a nice slacker day yesterday: gym in the morning, because moose_biscuit's just joined my gym, so I was showing her the ropes. This means that I went to the gym four times last week, including one spinning class. And I hope to spin again tonight. I might be insane. So, after showering and changing we took a leisurely stroll down to Moshi Moshi, where we stuffed ourselves with sushi, before window shopping (I tried on a lovely top, but, like the shoes, I'm not sure I can justify £25 for a top - I'd get more wear out of it than the heels, granted) and ending up at Yum Yum (the Chinese market) to buy some rice buns for dessert and udon noodles for tonight, and then Dave's Comics, to pick up a new storage box and a few issues of 'Fall of Cthulu' which we'd missed. Then home to collapse in front of an episode of Lost, Top Gear and then Alfie.

A very pleasant sunday indeed.
