I seem to have converted someone to a series I'm not even evangelical about.
Along with the first (almost) two seasons of BSG, pewterfish gave me the first two seasons of House, because there were massive gaps in my viewing. I've started season two and it's all good - the penultimate episode of s1 was particularly good, where we find out exactly what happened to House's leg.
Anyway, I was watching the other night when the Noob came home and sat down and asked what I was watching. Apparently she'd never actaully heard of House. She made me put on the next episode after that one. She uttered the line "This might be my new OC."
I think a large part of the appeal is her discovery that little Billy Kennedy grew up very nicely indeed. She has a bit of a crush on young Chase. She can have BillyChase if I can have Claudio Wilson. She also, as any right-thinking person does, thinks that House himself is wonderful, and agrees that Hugh Laurie got sexy all of a sudden.
Ah, who knew that a cantankerous jerk with a limp could be so entertaining?
Now I just have to get the Noob to watch Firefly - the only show that I really am evangelical about.
