Please note, SheBit should not be allowed out at lunchtime when she works in the heart of the nice shopping area. No, she should not.

I was seduced by two pairs of shoes today. One pair were Rocketdog black platform things at a rather heafty £50. The others, which I first tried on on wednesday and returned to today, are pretty, girly brown suede stilleto wedges with a suede bow on the front, reduced from £50 to £25.

Well, at least I had the sense to buy the sale ones and leave the pricey ones. Also, the Rocketdog ones, while very cool and making me exceedingly tall, are much like other similar ones I've seen around, and are therefore probably fairly common, while the wedges are from Yoma and rather unique, so I'm unlikely to see anyone else in anything similar.

I have a valid excuse for buying them, too. Next weekend is Rosh Hashana (New Year) and there's a tradition with my family that you buy something new to wear for Rosh Hashana, to have something new for the new year. When I was younger my mum always got me a new outfit or part of a new outfit, and I think she's got a new suit. I will be wearing new shoes.

I normally buy a pair of shoes a year, at most. In the past six months I've bought four pairs: Birkenstocks, Converse and now two pairs of girly heels. I'm in danger of becoming a girly girl.
