Ok, did anyone else think Goodwin, apart from the whole 'being an evil, neck-snapping Other', could easily be a third Brother -Mir? The first time he appeared on screen I had to double take because he reminded me muchly of the Bean ( welder extaordinaire), but on continued watching he was just very Wenham-like. Craggy, dark blonde, probably pale eyes and quite possibly a big conk - which would aid him in looking like Bean and Daisy.
If Denethor had had three sons, Brett Cullen would have been a nice bit of casting.
Also, with more reference to the episode itself, good episode. I wondered how they were going to squeeze a season's worth of story into one episode, but they did a nice job, and I look forward to flashback episodes for some of our new survivors, especially Sawyer's master Ana-Lucia, who I'm sure will have a very interesting past and will likely make Kate look like a sweet little girly-girl in comparison.
My line of the day comes curtesy of an X-Men scan on scans_daily. In a scene not unlike one I half expected to see in X3, Bobby and Rogue are an item, and Rogue walks in as Kitty snogs her boy. Rogue's response? "You got three seconds to go intangible!" Nice.
