(no subject)
i haven't updated in awhile. i'm not as addicted to livejournal as i once was. well that, and i never really know what to write. all i usually have are [club] pictures to post. and no one's intersted in those! anyway.
we had to take ethan to the emergency room on the 16th. he was playing outside with max, when something happened and max bit his lip. you know where the top lip comes together in sort of an "V" shape? well, that was ripped open. ;( it was bleeding sooooo much. i was fkn crying all the way to the hospital. i really dont wanna get into it..i hate even thinking about it. anyway, 4 hours and 3 stitches later, we were on our way home.

he was on antiobiotics to prevent infection, and he got the stitches out 4 days later.
so now, i've been using this
you know that freaky ass commercial where the kid is normal..normal..and then all of a sudden their face turns into a mask?
yeah, that stuff.
so now he's looking a LOT better.
that was a scary experience. :( i wish i could say that it wont happen again, but he's a little boy, and little boys get hurt. and i'm his mommy so it's gonna be scary everrrry time. but hopefully i'll learn to deal with it better.

ron is gone until friday evening. he went up to somewhere near monterey..camp roberts. he has live-fire training..shooting training and all that fun stuff. so i'm home alone in southern california until he gets back on friday. i've never stayed home alone before. i mean, i've been away from ron many times, but i'd always been living with my parents. now that we're living on our own, it feels different. i'm 21 years old and i'm just now finally staying overnight by myself.
to keep myself entertained, i've decided to start sorting through my zillions of pictures and start scrapbooking & putting 'em into frames and albums and whatnot. and i've been cleaning a lot too. ethan leaves a trail of destruction everywhere he goes.
even if he HAD a bed for his room, i really dont see how it could fit. he's sooooo spoiled and has waaaay too many toys. i'll definitely be doing some hardcore cleaning in there to pass the time these next couple of days.
i'll be heading back to northern california on august 5th, and i'll be staying there for about a month. ron has some major training coming up, and i miss my friends dearly, so back to the bay i go. ;)
