Conveyancer came round last night and we signed all the loan documents. Everything is good to go. We may even be able to settle early, which would mean we could move over the Labour Day long weekend. That would be ideal.
Ooh! And we drove past the house yesterday and there's a lovely big SOLD sticker over the FOR SALE sign. It's a beautiful sight indeed.
I must must must get an early night tonight, because I have two late ones in a row coming up. Wednesday I'm going to see Serenity again (whee!), this time with Steve, and Thursday is the Rock Eisteddfod grand final that Trisha is in. Very exciting stuff, but not much sleep will be had. We're told that the award presentation part of the Rock Eisteddfod night is likely to begin after midnight. Is it just me, or is it monumentally stupid to stage a school-based event midweek? I'm willing to bet that almost every single perfomer will be taking the Friday off school. I know Trisha is, with Mum's blessing.
Tickets have been purchased for Serenity (anyone see a pattern here?) on Monday with the Q&A with Joss Whedon afterwards. As soon as I saw lydiere's post about it I leapt for the phone. Just as well too, because they were selling fast. My only issue is that I couldn't get five seats all together. There's two twos and a one. But the one is apparently right behind one of the twos, so it should be okay.
