A few comments about Haven (quite pr0ny, you've been warned), in case anyone watches it, I finally caught up - watched the last 5 episodes in one sitting, and it was awesome and yet...
I've been Jossed. Dammit! I had this half finished porn fest where Nathan and Audrey finally figure it out and then they have to figure out sex. You know, with the Nathan not feeling stuff. I feel like the 'Nathan can feel Audrey' is a weird cop out. It makes their eventual getting together mean LESS to me, becuase I feel like Nathan can't adequately know how he feels about someone if he can only FEEL one woman. Of COURSE he's going to be more drawn to her than anyone else. Touch is an extreme intimacy. If you can only one person like that, it makes it nearly impossible not to want to touch them. A lot. All over. With every body part you possibly can.
It also means that any pr0n written from this moment is normal sex. It's tab A, slot B, moaning, touching, silky, moist, salty, blah. This makes me sad because I was looking forward to writing about how much Nathan loved to go down on her because of the taste and the smell and the lovely sounds she'd make. And how he had to have the lights on, becuase that's how he got off. And how he had to be SO in tune with his partner (be it Audrey or Duke, I quite love him with both of them) because he wouldn't know by the tensing of their bodies if he was hurting them or going too far or giving them pleasure. He'd have to gauge it by the sounds they were making, the line of their body, the color of their knuckles, etc. I mean, I guess I can still do it with Duke, but I already had a good start with Audrey written, and I've been Jossed. Damn it!
However, there were Significant Looks with Nathan and Duke which I find fit RIGHT into my most recent take on them, and that is mightily cool. I mean, the whole fate conversation? Uh-huh. I can make that into a filler, no problemo.
Also, Bones:
Cop out. Lynch pins and a girlfriend in Iraq, and seriously, Cam doesn't know anything about bone density, what malnutrition looks like, and the bug guy didn't know that wrapping a body in a blanket would retard insect growth? I mean, dude, I learned that from CSI!
Otherwise, it was good to see people, I'm curious to know where they go with the Hodgins baby, and I need some special Booth/Bones friendship/or possibly more moments. They've been far too infrequent.
Fringe:
Good, but annoying. They're going to get her back over there and then there's going to be Peter weirdness again! She'll have forgotten who he is, or something, and the whole season will be about getting back old Olivia. Dammit. Give them at least an ep or two of smooching and L shaped sheets!
Private Practice:
Nothing life altering, but I LOVE this show. I think it's so much fun. Even when it's breaking my heart.
What else am I watching. Eureka. Does anyone watch Eureka? I love that show with a love that has no end. And Chuck, but I haven't seen the premiere yet.
Anyhow, what are you watching, and can I get it on Hulu? :)
