She doesn't care who he sleeps with. She doesn't care that the chips he gambles with are his future and sometimes his life.
He doesn't seem to notice the untruths, but she's afraid-
Maybe he just doesn't care. Maybe all he needs to know is that she'll never endanger him, that he'll never have to worry about turning his back to her.
Maybe that's why he always does.
