Thanks! Claire is the sweetheart of the fandom world, as far as I can tell. Ordinarily that would make me avoid her, but I can't. I love her, too. *sigh*

Haha! Your squee just totally made my day! (And boy, did it need making!) I'm so glad you loved it! :) That means a lot. I love these characters, and it's fun trying to get a handle on them. This is the first fic where I feel like I sorta 'got' them, so it's just beyond awesome to get feedback like this. YAY!! Thank you!!

Your fic made my day! Heroes' fandom isn't established enough to have a wealth of good writers. (Or if there is a wealth, they're not writing stuff that I'd read.) When one of my favorite writers moves into my fandom? I dance the dance of gleeeee!

I thought the voices in this one were really solid. This is probably the best Claire I've read. People tend to go either overly spunky with her or overly tragic. You're much more balanced - she comes across as vulnerable and brave.

Okay, I don't understand why an Algebra assignment would even be relevant as she searches for her birth mother..........but, other than that........it's an awesome start and I want more!! ;)

LOL! I'm glad you liked it! The point I was trying to get across w/ the Algebra assignment was just that it didn't matter what they were talking about. Just talking was enough connection to make her happy.
