It's wrap enough for me now that the toughest part of the shoot is over. It would've been a piece of cake if I had gotten a head's up that the commercial is going to air in Mandarin.
Speaking perfect Mandarin on demand is not exactly my forte, but I had 50 people counting on me to wing it. My tongue was so, so stressed my face threw up a pimple.
Not just any pimple, my friend, but the Mother of all pus-gorged Moustache Zits.
And guess what? The ad is shot in High-Def! Sans DI! On the birthday of moustache zit!
Thank God I had the best make-up artist (& team). Two hours of brushing, stroking, dabbing, patting and shading later, my skin was supermodel flawless.
I've got one final shoot to nail tomorrow, and it's HELLO SONGKRAN!
