1.) Which of your RP characters, past or present, do you consider to be the easiest to write for? What about the hardest?
In RP, Warren is definitely the easiest. I think it is because there isn't much guesswork to his character - he is so absolutely straightforward that he pretty much tells me what he wants, how he wants it, now bitch. I also love writing characters who have deluded concepts of themselves, and Warren has that in spades. Vay is the hardest to RP. He's also a very straightforward character, but he is so emotionally bare and such a good person that it's hard to write him without being boring/Stu.
Things sort of reverse in fics though XD It is a million times easier to write Vay-fic than it is to write Warren-fic. WHY, I DO NOT KNOW.
2.) Do you still make adorable character dolls? <3
I REALLY WANT TO but I get bogged down with work and now Nano that I have a hard time lugging out my sewing machine. I still have a Kazuo doll to finish (I really only have his tuxedo jacket to do), then the next two on the list is Mitsuko (who is also from Chaos Crisis, and Ingrid's darling char) and Deon (I normally have a doll for my primary char in an RP done pretty soon after they are accepted, sort of as inspiration, but I've gotten lazy with him :< ) Perhaps if I make a sewing kit I can take into work, I can work on them during breaks...
3.) If you were stuck on a desert island with a solar powered CD player, what three albums would you have with you to tide you over until you're rescued?
Daft Punk's Discovery is a definite. The other two...the self-titled album by VAST, and then Before These Crowded Streets by Dave Matthews Band, because I can't live without the song "Crush" <3
4.) What do you consider to be the BEST. FOOD. EVAR.
PIZZA HUT BREADSTICKS.

5.) How do you tap into your characters when writing dialogue? Alternatively, what do you draw on for inspiration when writing dialogue? Because, seriously. Your dialogue is awesome.

Anyways.
I have to think this out D: It's hard to say how dialogue comes to me, because I usually can hear the voices of most of my characters very clearly. I don't know if this means I'm insane, or just am constantly in-tune with their personal logic (or both), but most of them are pretty quick to offer a response.
When I tap into my characters for dialogue, I KNOW that I end up making faces at my computer, the faces and expressions that I imagine my characters to be making at the moment. I also tend to jot down my gut-reaction to how they would speak and react, and that tends to be the best and most IC dialogue they can offer (I edit for clarity and cohesiveness too). After all, do we get five minutes to think out every verbal response we give other people IRL?
For inspiration...I try to just listen to other people, take habits and phrases other people use in their speech and incorporate that into what I'm doing. I try to remember that people don't normally use complex words or words with more than a few syllables, and a lot of my dialogue tends to be on the short, clipped side (that's one thing I want to improve - being confident in writing longer blocks of dialogue without feeling like I'm getting boring). Commonly, with my jerk characters, I just try to say the most smart ass thing I would say, if I were a brave enough person to say them.

Crush, by Dave Matthews Bands, hands down. I've loved that song for over a decade now, and I think I could stand to listen to it on repeat for a while yet.
2) I hear you are writing about vampires for Nano. What is your favorite supernatural/mythical creature?
Hm. Honestly, I'm not so much into vampires/werewolves/zombies etc (with obvious exceptions, hi Vay and Nano). I absolutely adore the Greek Gods, actually, so I'd have to name them. I'm pretty fascinated by humans who become immortal as well, if that counts as a creature - Tuck Everlasting anyone? Sailor Moon? Twelve Kingdoms?
3) What kinds of situations do you enjoy reading/writing your characters in?
I won't lie - I love myself action and violence and horror. I do love it when characters are fighting on the brink of death, or at a state of near-insanity from torture or something similar. Stephen King is my favorite author, after all. I feel like it's more difficult to get those sort of scenes in RP for some reason, so a lot of it is funneled into my fics.
I also really really like scenarios that force a character to show another side of themselves under some sort of extreme emotional stress. I have a fondness for characters who have a difficult time opening themselves emotionally to others, so I love forcing them into that situation that makes them step forward and actually reveal something about themselves.
So basically yeah, I love torment. I suck as an RP mommy.
4) Surprise! You get a shiny new magical superhero power. What can you do?
Arrrrrrgh part of me wants something selfish, like teleportation, and another part of me wants something that would be super-humanitarian, like weather control or something. Lemme stick with teleportation.
5) What is one character type that you haven't played much, but would like to do someday?
ANYTHING FEMALE Well that's not completely true - when I do play women though, they tend to be crazy bitches. I suppose I'm intimidated by female chars who aren't super-aggressive, like I'm not sure how to play them so they are still interesting. But in my Nano, I do have my female lead who is basically Vampire Moaning Myrtle, and that's making me think that I should give lady chars a more fair shot in the future.
