Mediocrity applauded
Been meaning to do this meme for a while:
The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know only so much about each other.
So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.
If you need to go anonymous to ask it, feel free to.
I'm not going to be posting albums anymore, not unless it's super-obscure or a compilation. But I absolutely recommend The Bachelor by Patrick Wolf, which I bought last week and really have been listening to straight since then (that, and looooots of Massive Attack). The album is a wonderful blend of ultra-abstract techno to songs that sound more at home in a Celtic ballad CD, all of it carried along by Wolf's unique, strained-with-emotion voice. I constantly say that the emotionality of a singer is what I'm drawn to, and he completely has it. I had trouble really digging into Wolf's other albums, but this one is smooth like buttah.

Also, I've been interested in expanding my instrumental music collection. Classical or non-classical, just throw at me some that you've enjoyed and I'll look into them! This is inspired cause I just bought an instrumental album inspired by The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlto, and it is generously badass. I might have to upload that too XD
Also, my face is doing a lot better. I'm just waiting for my neck to get unswollen now D:
