Ice cream is the best
I've been eating a whole lot of ice cream lately, and it's been swell. In fact, I'm tempted to eat more right now. Chocolate banana and butterscotch sundae taste quite delicious when melted together, and given our current heat wave, it takes approximately 2 seconds for the melting process to begin.
There's been a sudden listing craze of one of the goods I collect and now I want to buy it all. Unfortunately, I don't yet have millions of dollars, but I am ever hopeful that magic and miracles will occur and happiness will ensue.
I'm still very much in hate with the mental health system. Cataloguing one's traumas for someone who clearly doesn't give a shit about anything except the money is a most disheartening process and the fact that I have to do this again and again in order to get the support that I need...it's distressing, to say the least. And I wish that people were less afraid of being ripped off and more afraid of gaps in social safety nets and the people who might fall through them. On the plus side, however, I now possess an official diagnosis of PTSD, which is a tremendous relief and validation of my experience.
