Merry Christmas, everyone... I hope everyone got what they wanted...
today was good. I got some fun stuff, including a totally kickass pair of wings and a neat bracelet. the bracelet looks like it could be the wall of a fairy castle. it's all purpley and shiney.
the funnestest thing I got, though, was four packs of glow in the dark stars. some are purple and the others are blue, but they all glow and they total up to about 160 little stars. I keep running onto my bathroom (the cleanest and darkest room in the house) and shining the GodLight on them and then throwing them on the floor.
it's amazingly pretty... This also inspired an idea.
So, they float, right? and the place I know my dad got them at also had little hearts... imagine a bubble bath in the pitch black or maybe a candle or two, and as the bubbles all popped away, they'd reveal a zillion little glowing hearts... The Cure playing in the background. I keep picturing this in my mind, and I can't wait for Valentines day (oooh, or maybe even New Years, if I'm that impatient) to do it. I know Erikka would love it. She's been talking about a candlelit bath and the Cure for a while, it's just never happened because every time she comes over and spends the night, she either feels sick or we're on our periods.
Periods are no fun. I think Erikka's and mine are getting organized to happen the same time, though, so at least it's not one week where i'm on it and then one week where she's on it.
hmmm. aright, so, at four dollars each for a pack of fourty little stars (hopefully the hearts are the same amount for the same price and the same size, or else i'll just use stars), that's five packs to make it an even twenty dollars and an even two hundred. some lavendar bubble bath, and a few lavendar candles... so, thirty dollars.
