A Pleasant Interlude
This weekend Jacob and I drove up to Charlottesville to see Jonathan Richman play a show at the Gravity Lounge. Jonathan and his drummer Tommy Larkins put on a really great show, playing for about an hour and a half. It was a smallish venue (about 60 people were there) so we were able to get very close to the low stage. I guess we were about 5 feet away from them... and Jonathan was frequently looking out into the eyes of his audience. Intimate! Anyway, if you ever get a chance, definitely see Jonathan in concert.
