Title: My Soul May Find Her Peace
Pairing: John/George
Rating: PG-13

Awwww. John IS scary like that. Glad Georgie was there to calm him down. ;)

John is scary sometimes even when he's not crazy. There's a certain unpredictability in him, and you always have the sense that he's got the upper hand in any situation that occurs. That can be way scary. And will certainly come into play in the next fic. ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

That was sooper dooper my god I had a smile througout its so very very real - like you were in the room with em well done

I particularly liked this since it echoed something I've written...

John’s features, however, revealed nothing, and it was that fact alone that convinced George that his friend was back to normal, or well on his way.

lol of course you write it more succintly and well just better than I could have

was well worth the wait for the sequel I can't wait for more of your fic

Aww yay! I'm glad you liked it! Fics that make me smile throughout are my favorite, so I'm please I was able to accomplish it.

I've got a couple of fics in other fandoms that I owe people, and then I'll be able to throw myself into the next piece. I've been wrestling with this one for so long that I think I need a break from these boys. Then again, Astrid is in the next one; maybe she'll keep me sane!

Awwwwww, I loved this! Same as before :) I love how you captured the really intimate moments, i.e., leaning against each other's forehead, George stroking John's hair, etc ... and of course I loved how they ended up in the same bed just like the first part ^_^

Thanks to beatlesnspurs for her lovely spammages and listening to me rant about this fic the other night!

Hey, anytime :) So that was the fight you were referring to I haven't read the entire Anthology but I definitely know that anecdote! XD I think when I read it that's when the slashy thoughts began to occur ;)

The one that's been brewing in my mind as I worked on this is faaaar slashier.

Oohhh.. can't wait ^_^ Oh, and Stu's 'queers' comment made me chuckle aloud :D

It's the moments that come to me first. The foreheads touching, that's pretty much the moment that this entire fic grew around. And of course, ending up in bed. That's pretty much the theme holding this series (oh, god, it's officially going to be a series now) together.

I'm glad you liked Stu. I feel like I keep giving him the shaft in these. I want to use him more, but he's just not found his place in these stories yet. He should appear a bit more in the one after the next one (no, really, see how this thing is growing? I won't be able to control it soon. Meanwhile, my J/P lies completely untouched. *pets abandoned boys sadly*). Strangely, Stu seemed very un-Stu-like to me in this. From what I've read in his letters and other writings and such, he seemed the least likely to throw out a comment like that. But whatever. It seems to have accomplished its goal.

This comment is getting ridiculously long. I'll stop now. <3!

Great job. I liked the way you established George as such a calming presence for John. Well done.

George always struck me as very zen, even when he was mad (not that he couldn't lash out when he wanted to). It seemed logical to me that he would play that role for John.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Oh I loved it, poor Paul and Pete that they were on the receiving end of John's mania, but how lovely was George in this. I think you really captured that quality in John that sort of made him his own worst enemy at times, and that calming quality that George had to talk him down.

I look forward to your next story :)

Thanks so much! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it, and that I actually seemed to put forth a fairly accurate representation of their characters.

I guess I better get writing on the next one, then, eh?
