so i got a major promotion at work...i guess you could call it that.
my boss sold the business.
the new owners want no hands on involvement in running the business...
so i am
firing, hiring, ordering, decorating, designing, managing, sheduling, marketing...its all me.
scary i know...its been very stressful. especially since theyre planning on moving the store next month and i have no idea how big my showroom is going to be...so i dont know how much christmas stock to order. big problem since most of it comes from out of town and needs to be ordered within 3 weeks in order to arrive in time for our open house in early november.
we're moving in the 1st week of november and the open house will be in the 2/3rd week of november. perfection must exist this night so just moving in and needing perfection within less than a week is very stressful for me. since it all relies on me and my managing skills...poo.
sucks - opening at 8:45 every day and not getting a raise as of yet for all this drama...hmmm
