Thanks so much for this comment, 'cause honestly, I am totally that girl who has troubles with confidence, hence all the notes-at-the-end-ness.
I'm all defense-mechanism, I figure, if I point out what's wrong before someone else does, I'm less likely to get my feelings hurt - however, I have gotten much better about criticism, as I didn't used to allow myself to have a beta for that reason, and now that I have I realize how awesome having one is.
I suppose this one fic just kind of freaked/stressed me out, simply due to the fact I wanted to get it out in a specific amount of time. Had my beta gone over it first, I would have been less 'OMGZ FREAKING OUTZ!110011!!' - lol.
Not to mention I was upset and, in reflection, still kind of am, about the fact that I think I was a bit too 'beating-you-over-the-head' with the prompt. Eh, the next few are all gonna be betaed - so it's no big.
I actually rather like Coco, but she fit within the idea once I started writing it - nothing like unexpectedly seeing an old ex to get the fic going - and hey, maybe she did hook up with Dave...niiice.
I am jealous you got to see her on Broadway - I adore Broadway and I'm sure she was fantastic!!!
