I got the job. :) This is huge, huge, huge for me. My Dad, Mom and siblings are so immensely happy for me. I've wanted to do something in regards to my major for longer than I can remember and it's finally, finally bearing some fruit. I'm not one to cry very often, but as I called Jess immediately after getting off the phone to accept the position, there were tears of joy at bay. I've needed and wanted this so terribly much. The position is a lead teacher of a 4-5 year old class at a YMCA Child Development Center. On Monday I'm going in to sign a few more papers, set up a schedule and go from there. *pats herself on the back* Well done, you.
And I would be here just as absolutely elated and overjoyed if it wasn't for the news which follows that promptly burst my "zomg, YAY" mood.
