I'm so excited for XKCD tomorrow!
So yeah, I'm home this weekend--20 hours of travel for a day and a half at home. But it will be awesome, I worry not. So today I woke up late and lounged around home for a while, and then I went to Newbury street and did homework in l'Aroma, which I hadn't been to for a while. My original plan was Tealuxe, but they were oh-so-full. I love lattes and homework together--it would have been even better if I hadn't been sitting next to a trio of chit-chatting, shrieking, and occasionally guffawing women. They were so loud--I threw them a really dirty look at one point, but I think it was lost. It was seriously malicious. I didn't even know I could throw looks that dirty! I almost scared myself.
I walked down to the Mass Ave side of Newbury and almost cried when I saw that CD Spins is going out of business. It cannot be trruuuuee! Alas it is--so I bought a final CD, Skylarking by XTC, and bid goodbye. As I continued down the street, I passed a man playing a melodic cover of Baby Got Back on the ukelele. I miss Boston.
