Monday Bank holiday is here and I am at work as all Swedes are having had our bank holiday last Thursday. The drive to work was very quiet, I only ran into the milkman delivering milk and a few other early morning workers like me. The sun was shining brightly but turned to rain as I drove under the rainbow to work.
Continuing my attempt to restart my walking, I parked as far away from the front door as possible in the office carpark. I'm also hoping the tree will shade it from the sun later (being optimistic never hurts).
I tried my hardest to be full of motivation on Friday. I really did, but as
midnightoak can testify it didn't work. I did manage to fix the seam in my trousers. I didn't re-enforce them yet but at least I can remove the safety pin now.
I refocused my efforts going into town on Saturday to buy the items needed for the things I had yet to start. But didn't try in earnest until Sunday. Now I have one almost completed girdle book (just needs a button) and the pattern for my pouch is done even if the pieces still need cutting out. The bottle is covered but needs a bottle holder. Oh and I need to strengthen the collar of my tunic but other than that things are going well ;)
So my early start was heralded by the strange dream I had involving the cast of Buffy. I think my brain thought we were somewhere along the timeline of season six and we were OOC and IC a bit as the conversation went like this.
Xander: So how much did they tell you.
Me: We left and Buffy fell apart (We being me and K)
Xander: So most of it then.
Me: Not really that was all they said. I don't know the details beyond Buffy falling apart.
Enter Spike, Tara and Willow. (No Idea where my brain left Dawn) Xander leaves or vanishes. He isn't there all of a sudden anyway. Willow comes to talk to me.
Willow: So they brought you guys back that's cool. I feel sorry for Xander though. He hasn't been in it for three episodes.
Me: Oh he's in this one. He spoke to me. We just had a conversation a moment ago.
Willow: That's great. So you get a speaking bit as well then.
Me: I always have a speaking bit. Hey K. Haven't I had a speaking bit in every episode I've been in? I've never been just a face in the crowd.
Discussion then continues as to whether that is true or not but my brain gave up at that point, instead transporting me to my dad's and the task of fielding three girls who all "think your brother is really sweet." -_^ They are all giggles and I'm all 'please let them leave'. Then one of them says they predict he will get bigger and I get angry throwing them out with a comment of "I don't think he will."
I then eat breakfast, in my dream and wake up hungry :P
