Today was the 10th day of the Islamic month of Moharram, which means it was Ashura.

NOT the festival of Ashura, but the DAY of Ashura.

You know what that is.

If you don't, search Google, bc it's too long and sad a story for right now.

But one story struck me: On the night before, Husain (AS) told his followers to prepare for the next day, the day of the final fight, the day of ultimate sacrifice for all of them.

His 11 year old nephew, Qasim, asked him, "Uncle, will I also give my life tomorrow?"

How could an uncle truly answer that?

So Husain (AS) replied with a question: "Tell me, my son, what is death to you?"

And this child, this young little boy, replied, "Death is sweeter than honey to me..."

He died bravely the next day.
