So, it's been a little while. MD was great. I got to go see Sarah's show and, as usual, she was great at what she does. Aida was a beautiful show. I greatly enjoyed it. The weekend at the Faire went fairly well. Saturday was a bit wet but we couldn't have asked for better on closing day. It was a lot of fun. All in all Meghan and Glenn enjoyed their anniversary, even going as far as enjoying cake and wine in the jacuzzi. That's how it should be. Congratulations guys. I wish you many more to come. After that the week flew by. This weekend I went into the city with Andrea on Friday to get the remaining tools for the Samhain ceremony on Monday night. We got a cauldron and smudge set. And I'm even such a good president that I purchased tokens for each person to use in their seeker ceremony. I'm so excited.
Oh and then there was today's adventure. OK, everyone take a deep breath and you might want to sit down. Lacy and Andrea went to church this morning. I even delivered part of the sermon. Our advisor invited us to his Presbyterian church to help him deliver and explain the origins of Halloween. Well, I was more than happy to help stir up some controversy muahahhaha.....um I mean, help dispell any ignorance that may be present in the congregation. Anyway, it all went over pretty well. We had a few people come up and talk to us afterwards and they were all vrey accepting and appreciative of our presence. But then again I guess those who weren't very appreciative probably were the ones who didn't stick around to talk after the ceremony. Oh well.
As for tomorrow, wish us luck. It's the first ceremony I've really attended, created, and led. It should be interesting and refreshing to say the least. I'll let you know how it goes. Happy New Year to all and Blessed Be!
