Kairn looked at Sham and Sham looked at Kairn and, their well-being confirmed, they both looked at Sethan. There was a light in his eyes as the doll opened hers, one that Kairn hadn’t seen in years and a broad grin split his lips.
Cheva lifted one delicate pink hand and slowly splayed its thin fingers before her face, and Sethan let out a laugh that sent a chill down Kairn’s spine.
