Lately Keaton has wanted me to get in bed with him while he falls asleep. So I have, against the advice of every other Mom and all parenting books. Tonight he curled his arm around my neck, kissed me, and then we had this exchange:

K: Nini, Mama, I wuv you.
Me: Nini, baby, I love you too.
K: I not baby.
Me: Nini, little boy.
K: I not little boy, I BIG boy.
Me: Okay, nini big boy.
K: Nini, big mama.

So worth it.
