but you need a really good imagination...

No clients today so I thought I'd bring Keats to work with me. While having him here is not conducive to work, really, it is an awful lot of fun. He's tearin' the place up now, and an hour ago he was quietly napping in the vocal booth, the microphone hovering over his head. Why didn't I turn the mic on and record his sweet sleep sounds? Another day.

He's taking steps constantly but still not walking. He's pretty consistently calling Ali "Dada" and he has his own word for "dog" which he uses, gleefully, every time he sees one. Okay, once he used that "dog" word when he saw me but I'm not holding it against him.

This morning I weighed 134lbs, somehow my lowest weight in 7 or 8 years. What's weird is, I feel pretty gross constantly but I totally don't care. This seems like huge personal progress and I hope I don't regress into my former obsession.

It's hot. I'm looking so forward to the fall and days with the windows open and evenings drinking wine on our back porch. Soon.
