It's like we won the lottery.

The first few nights he slept 4.5 hrs, nursed for an hour, then slept 4.5 hours more. MM said no, that's not good, and last night we got on a more regular every-two-hours-wake-to-nurse schedule that she says will be better for him and for my boobs.

My boobs are magical. Keaton lights up when he's near them. They solve all his unhappinsses. They are huge. They make food.

I've never loved my body more.

And I've never loved a body more than I love his. It's so tiny and perfect. He's not going through diapers like he should, though, so we had to give him a suppository last night. He handled it like a champ but I sobbed so much Ali had to take time to calm me. I am emotional now to makeup for my calm during pregnancy, perhaps.

Keaton is the calmest baby ever. He almost never cries and the most attention-getting sound he makes is a short quick screech kinda like a hawk, which we've learned means "I'm hungry." He's basically a genius, already talking to us like this.

Also he's super-humanly strong. He already has neck control!

Our friends Heather and Douglas had their baby at home yesterday morning, so now Keats has an age-apprropriate friend.

Now, nursing.
