baby needs
Alright, parents, I need your help. Ali and I went crazy last night at babies r us making a registry, but we were overwhelmed by the many options and lists of newborn baby items we'll need. In your experience, what don't we really need? What do we need? I worry about getting so much stuff that our nursery becomes a cluttered mess but I also worry about failing to prepare adequately. So far we know we need:
a changing table (a dresser with a changing pad on top, with its associated covers)
diaper wipes/baby bottom ointment
a dirty diaper can
some bottles (we're hoping to do breast milk only but since I have to go back to work in January, some bottles will be needed for what's pumped)
blankets
onesies
stroller + carseat
socks?
a couple hats?
a moses basket for the baby to sleep in
And I think that's all we've got. Here's the list so far. What is extraneous? What are we missing? According to Babies r Us personnel, we're leaving out a ton, but I don't really trust them.
