Now that I definitely have a bump (not a baby-looking bump, just a she's-eating-too-much-sugar-and-is-a-fatty bump), I'm desperate for cute bump-hiding clothes. I searched all weekend and failed. Anything cute also costs a million dollars, and I'm a frugal wench. Ideas?

i need to go through more of my margaret pregnancy stuff. i bet i have a ton of things i only wore once. there are a couple good consignment stores, like pumpkin patch, too, which have barely worn or never worn stuff sometimes.

the best place i found for maternity-type shirts was actually forever21. nothing is maternity, proper, but they had lots of flowy tops and tunics and their prices, if you can stand the mall, are good.

mimi's sometimes has good sale items, but is otherwise overpriced. i also liked picketfences--that place across the street from CM with the pink and white stripes.

when i was pregnant the second time, i mostly wore regular, non-maternity clothes with a regular "uniform" of tunics and yoga pants with the top that folds down (you can fold it up to accommodate a belly). I did splurge on a couple nicer dresses from maternity boutiques for going out, but found that the quality of maternity specific clothing was severely lacking, especially for the premium price you pay.

i am planning to go to lastcall sometime this week to shop for margaret things for the spring. care to join? i seriously love shopping for baby/pregnancy stuff.
