It's another slow day at work. There's no copywriting to be done and I've proofed for a grand total of 10 minutes in the hour I've been here. I grumbled on monday that the work would come on Friday at 6 pm and it looks like I'm going to be right. They've already mentioned overtime on the weekend again. It's frustrating to sit around all week doing nothing and then lose a weekend day that I could be spending with Morgan.
We've done a bit of work on the baby's room this week. Morgan managed to put together the crib without using a single bad word. I was impressed. I put a baby mat down and Johnny immediately started rolling around on his back, batting at the dangling toys. Since I'm resigned to cat hair appearing on everything in the house, I let him play. It was cute.
The only major purchase left is a dresser for the little guy. Maybe a change table too but nothing fancy. I can't believe that we have about 10 weeks left. The time has flown by.
