Yay for January! Haha! I just felt like saying that. I'm in a really good mood. I honestly can say I have absolutely nothing to complain about right now. My life is going really well. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying that. :) I made up with my friend that I was upset about. (The journal entry is down a ways.) That makes me happy. I really missed him and hated the fact we were still not talking. So smiles for that.
I had a fun weekend. My mom, brother and grandma came to visit. We did a lot of shopping and went out to eat with Bobbi and Mike. My grandma loved finally getting to meet the guy she has heard so much about! But yeah... it was awesome spending time with my family. I missed them a lot. I missed my Sheehan friends though. They all went to the Cities to go snow-mobiling, which I've never done. Oh well, hopefully next time. I also got all of my 2 days worth of music backed up on CD-Rs! I used every single one of the 50 discs, plus I had to borrow a couple from Emily. Both of my CD cases are completely filled. Not too shabby for someone who had maybe 10 CDs to her name coming into college. Mike is pretty proud of me... but he says I should try to get some of the real CDs. I tell him that yeah, maybe you get more excitement or motivation or whatever from the real thing... but as a dirt poor college student... I'm darn content with my copies for the time being. Haha!
This is going to be a cool week. Very busy though. Especially Thursday and on. Thursday is mine and Mike's 2 month anniversary, Friday is a Runway 36 show in Rochester, and Saturday is my mom's birthday. I also have a bit of homework. I'm not too worried about that though. It's been pretty easy to stay up to date, since it's basically all reading, which I have no problem with. Also on Sunday, I am going to go and work out with my friend Dawn.
Speaking of working out. Emily and I have decided that we're going to get ourselves onto fitness regimens to start tomorrow. We'll be doing some pilates, yoga and kickboxing, as well as cardio. I will be going to do weights with Dawn every Sunday evening. I'm also planning on cutting way back on pop and junkfood. Not to lose weight... I just want to get into shape and be healthier. I haven't really gained much weight... but I feel sluggish and gross all the time and I've been having a hard time coming up with energy and motivation. So hopefully this will help. Wish me luck.
One last piece of new um... news. LOL! I am now officially declared as a Psychology major. I had been telling everyone that I was going to be a Public Relations major... but I never technically declared. I was planning to after break... but then I was thinking about it more and I changed my mind. So now I'm doing Psychology with minors in both Mass Communications and Communication Studies. I'm pretty excited.
Alright... that's it and that's all for now! Hopefully I'll continue to have a pretty interesting life... so you'll actually start seeing some more updates on this sucker. Loves to all!
