I very much doubt it will come to pass *g*, but there IS a chance it might start. The same law that got the Chilean dictator, Pinochet (sp?) arrested when he visited Blighty might apply here too. And the Vatican isn't a country recognised by the UN so he has no special exemptions.

If they can make Peter Garrett step down because of the foil-insulation installations that fried a few people, then surely the pope is accountable too.

Peter Garrett was made to step down yet he didn't climb into every roof space and check the insulation. The pope was a lot more hands on *g* than Peter Garrett.
