We don't pick our loves but can pick our paths
Seems about time for another update. I had an alright weekend, a little rough at some points, but all in all good. Friday momma picked me up and took me to my job interview at Covenant, it's an old folks home. I got the job!!! And I'm very excited about it. I start at $8 an hour and I get a raise after 60 days. It's just wait staff work. I'm lucky that I'm down with the independents, I would be a little uncomfortable cutting up food and stuff for the old people. I had to get a TB test though, and i need top go back this Friday and get another one, plus i gotta get a physical next week. Thats a lot of stuff for one job, I guess they just don't want the workers getting the elderly sick. My boss said I can get as many to as little days a week as I want, and they only serve one meal a day so the hours are convenient, 2-9. I don't get to start until I'm out of school, but I excited about it!!!
I didn't do much else this weekend. Marissa, Al & I had some stuff planned for Saturday but that fell through, so we just ended up going to Coldstone and then hanging out around the fire at Rissa's all night. We listened to a tape Riss and I made when we were little, it was funny. Later Saturday night my little sister looked out the window and saw that our back fence was one fire! It wasn't just some small fire, it was burning for a while and destroyed a good portion of our fence. We didn't have to call 911 though cause my dad the retired fire fighter put it out. But we did have to call the cops the next morning and fill out a report because it looked like someone might have set it on fire.....hmmmmm
Sunday Al got me flowers!!! Which was really nice of him. We had a pretty rough weekend. Every time we were together we were fine, but things got a little stressful at night. But we worked it all out, and hey I got flowers :D We hung out at his house. We played outside :D ate dinner and then it was time for me to go back to school.
I'm not too sure how this week is gonna go. I'm not in the best mood, and I'm sick of school. Everyone is almost out. Me I have 16 days left of class, and then a week of finals after that. Man I hope it goes fast, I'm going crazy. Summer is so close I can taste it!
