Actions must be guided by peace. The peace that was left with you and I am sure thats the peace you felt. Not everyone in need receives. Jesus was not moved by need. Many people were sick, many people were poor and I am sure many people died during his time on earth. Yet not all received. Those who received were those who sought and everyone who sought, received

When Jesus was on the way to raise the someone's daughter who just died, he was pushing through a throng of people. A woman who was bleeding for a number of years touched his cloak and she was healed. I am sure in that moment there were people many people touching him/pressing against him and these people I am sure all have needs. But one only person's need was met at that moment.

We don't always bless the poor, the deprived and the handicapped. They probably need help but they won't be able to receive if they didn't have a heart to seek.

We will always have the poor and the needy and we may feel compassion for these people. However, there are times when you won't be prompted to help even though you might feel overwhelming compassion for them.

I am not saying we shouldn't help the poor and needy, it is just that we should not feel bad if you don't.
