I had a first hand encounter with vanity sizing yesterday when I went shopping at the Gap. It's ridiculous how far people are taking vanity sizing. I KNOW I haven't lost any weight in the last year or two. And yet, I've gone down a few sizes!
I'm now a size 6. I haven't been a size 6 since high school years and years ago. And I'm definitely larger than I was in my teenage years! Intellectually, I understand that women are flattered to think that they're smaller or thinner than they actually are. But changing size numbers doesn't change facts or actual waistline measurements!
That's why it's so difficult to shop for clothes online. I am never sure which size I should buy!

I got loot! I bought several stretch T's in different colors from the Gap at $4.99 each. I love sales. I love shopping!
