Entering the Rat Race
I have a job!! It's at Friendly's in Allentown, but it's a job. The district manager seems like a pretty cool guy, and it seems like it'll be a decent place to work at. I'm starting off in the grill, but I'll be doing other training once I've got that down. Life is surprisingly good right now, especially when you consider some of my recent posts.
I also found out that I'll be puppy/house-sitting for a woman that works with my mom -- 6 days this month (next week, actually), and 6 days in August. Not only that, everything still works out so I can go to see TMBG on the 15th! Is this cool or what?
Oh, for those of you who may be worried about my sanity and emotional health: I am doing OK, it seems. Acceptance has set in, and I am getting on with things, as one must. So, signing off for now...
