(no subject)
Wow, so I haven't updated in awhile, eh?
I've just been pretty busy, and I don't have internet at home so it's always a struggle to find time to go to a computer lab.
Plus, I don't really have much to write about I guess.
I getting into one of those ruts, ya know where it's the same thing every week... same schedule same stuff over and over.
But, the weather is gorgeous and I decided it'd be silly to work out inside today, so after this I think I'll go for a walk at Boulevard Park. Matt found a staircase right down the alley from my place that basically goes right down to the park. Awesome shortcut :)
You know it's really spring quarter when the student population seems to double because EVERYONE is outside reading, eating, or laying on the grass half-naked. I'd almost forgotten how beautiful it is here during Spring.
I've also noticed that I live in a wonderful neighborhood. The other day I was walking home from school and I heard the tinkly song of an ice cream truck. Ahead of me there were three wide-eyed children with white-blonde curly hair and quarters in hand. They grabbed their frozen snacks and ran back to their yard with their golden retriever close behind. It's so nice to know there are still places where kids can play in the yard unsupervised and not have to worry about getting kidnapped or runover or something. It almost makes me sad that I have to move out of my place, but not until like August so that's good anyway.
Maybe I'll be able to find an apartment in the same neighborhood (crosses fingers)
So someone pretty close behind me in the computer lab is humming... and I have my headphones on and I can still hear them. Do they not realize that could be a tad annoying to others? Or maybe, like my mother, they don't even realize they're doing it.
I'm taking Matt out for sushi tonight. We deserve it because we've been good kids, not going out to dinner a lot. We're trying to save money for our trip this summer to Glacier National park :)
excuse me for being sappy, but I can think of no one I'd rather go on a trip for 10 days with.
one last thing.... Matt and I went to Taco Bell the other day and I asked for a number two "with no meat." The girl said, "Okay so since you don't want meat do you, like, want chicken instead?"
