"I cannot support the Harper-Duceppe motion currently before the House.

The Prime Minister's responsibility is to protect the constitution and the unity of the country. This motion does neither.

Dryden is such a phenomenal writer; I've felt that way since I was introduced to his books in high school. It's a shame that as an orator he loses a bit of the magic, all his whirling ideas massifying themselves beyond the patience of his audience's ears. This statement brings the best of both worlds together
