atlantic city
Hmm, what a fun day yesterday despite the rain. My mom took me to Atlantic City, NJ for my birthday for a little gambling and walking around the boardwalk. It rained though so we didn't spend too much time walking around outside. This was my first time gablimg and so I put some money in the machine, pulled the little knob thingy like I knew what I was doing, and out popped $10 more than what I had put in...:-) Too bad it went down hill after that...lol. I didn't loose much, in fact, I won a couple of times and didn't spend but half the money that I said I wouldn't mind loosing cause I was here to have fun. I had to get out quick though, cause some of the games were addicting and I didn't want to end up like Delta Burke in that movie Going For Broke where she spent all her family's money!
Other than that there is nothing major going on in my life. I've decided that I hate sales and the next job that I decide to settle down with is not going to have anything to do with sales. I don't like selling stuff to people. I don't like using unfair tricks to get people into products. I think if the client wants something, they will mostly ask for it. Yeah, you can advertise, you can inform people of what we offer, but what I won't do is preassure people into things and I hate people that want you to do that. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not going to do my job....I'm still going to do it and with a smile on my face, but when its time to move on, I think sales is out!
My trip to Kings Dominion is coming up....OCt. 21st. I'm driving down to VA that friday night, the 20th and meeting a couple of friends from school at the hotel. We are going to the park the next day, staying all day, then sleeping there that night before going our seperate ways the next day. I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't seen them since May.
