Life of a Home-Body...
Before I start rambling, I'm at Cj's right now. The drive down was fine. We're leaving tonight for Chicago. Woo. Anyway,... onward.
I had forgotten what it's like to be in someone else's space alone. In a completely different way, but sort of the same, this reminds me of when I would come "home" for the summer, before I had a summer job, when I would just sit around, sitting around while everyone else was working. Because, you know, what else is there to do?
Cj left me a note attached to his cellphone saying that if anyone calls to call and tell him. Of course, I didn't see the note until way late, and then I was like, "gah! a cellphone! Shit, I hope I don't lose it" because, you know, I'm prone to losing those things. Which is why I'll never have one. At least I haven't dropped it in the toilet. *laughs*
So far, I've ignored it when its vibrated except the one time I didn't, and it was Cj calling, and I flipped it up and was like, "ah!" because it said it had answered the call. I'm sure he noticed the surprise. It was a good opportunity to give him his phone messages, however, which I couldn't call to give him, because, well, the phone wouldn't let me.
Cj told me I could watch a movie. I told him I could entertain myself, and he said, "well, since you don't really internet all that much." *laughs*
So far, I slept, and took Dozerman for a run, and took him out to go pee a few times, because I'm afraid he's gonna go in the house and I don't want that, and right now I'm keeping up on my eljaying, with Dozer laying on the couch next to me, because he's frustrated I won't let him roam the house alone, getting into trouble.
Skyla came up a few times and sniffed me, but has generally kept to himself, which I guess I'm okay with. I just can't help but think he's got the weirdest looking eyes for a cat. Way too humanesque or bobbily or something, I don't know.
The rats, of course, are sleeping. Boo sat up and peered at me earlier, but that's about it. Still makes me miss my rat-face. *sigh* I should have taken him with me.
Forgive me if I post a million times in the next four hours. *sigh* *laughs*
