(no subject)
I have too much stuff. Like, I've become sort of disgusted with the /amount/ of things that I own, especially those things that serve no purpose whatsoever. Things that I hang onto "just in case." I think I'm going to go through and anything I haven't touched since I moved to North Carolina, I'm going to rehome.
I did it a little bit today. I've got a stack of stuff I plan on FreeCycling-- some shoes, a clip-on lamp, stuff like that. I'm keeping my toaster and my micro, though, even though they're just sitting in my closet, because I love my toaster (one of the old-school fifties-style ones), and because the micro would be pricy to replace.
I went through a bunch of my books, and sold some to Edward McKay's-- 8 dollars in cash, and 8.50 in store credit. Woo, store credit.
Also, does anyone want my webcam? It's a Philips, and it probably works. I dunno. I got it from my gram for Christmas, and it doesn't work with Ubuntu (that I know of), and besides which, I've got a built-in cam (that also doesn't work), so I don't see the point of having two. If you want it, I'll ship it to you for the price of postage.
