I let it slip to my boss that I've learned the basics of Adobe Captivate. He's given me a list of projects to make with it now. *sigh*
*"How to Apply for Services" video
*"Where is our office located" / "Where are we allowed to tutor?" tutorial with walk-thru.
*"How to use available resources/software" <--he doesn't actually want me to do this, just talk about it to someone who will try to make me do it.
* A list of "how-to" for the lab monitors' station- how to check out a calculator, how to log people on, how to use the collaboratory station
*"How to index using Nolij Web" walk-thru (funny thing, I don't even know how to use Nolij Web.)
And this isn't including "how to fill out a session record" or learning how to import video. Or that section on "What are Academic Skills." Gargle.

Also, I looked over the "tentative draft of assignments" for my ESL Reading Instruction class (also called CUI 603), and the assignment for the second week of class involves making an inventory of our students' cultural capital.
... I don't have students.
This is going to be another one of those 'scramble around to find people to let me study them' semesters. I'll be glad when it's done.
*sigh*
