QI is an alternate spelling for CHI, like the Chinese word for life energy, as in "tai chi" or "chi gong".
ADZE I don't know off the top of my head, but dictionary.com tells me it's "An axlike tool with a curved blade at right angles to the handle, used for shaping wood."
You are very good at Scrabble. You beat me regularly. And I am pretty good at Scrabble. Not tournament-good, but good enough that usually when I play with people I have to either purposely go easy on them or they end up not wanting to play with me anymore. :-/
I really like my scrabble dictionary though I do not use it during game play because it gives the spellings and brief definitions of the words. Then again I am a dork and I study my scrabble dictionary when I am bored. Huggles, play you later.

My point still stands. Which /was/ that there is no "correct" way to spell chi/q'i/qi/ki in English, because it's not an English word. It's a CHINESE word, therefore, the only correct way to spell it is in Chinese.
This is why we have words like tao/dao. It all depends on some random English-speaker's interpretation of a tonal language.
life is pretty okay. i had been thinking about talking to you about what's been going on in my brain gender-wise, and then you called the other day and i was super excited but about to board a plane. :)
so we should definitely talk. i'm glad we ran into each other online!
