So, a girl almost passed out in seventh hour. She was fine, we were talking, then all of a sudden, the colour drained from her face and she asked for permission to sit down because she wasn't feeling well.
She sat down at her desk, threw off her sweater, and the look on her face said, "I wanna throw up" so I asked if she needed to go to the office. She said yes, she would like to. So I start escorting her to the office, and I put my hand on her shoulder, in case she passed out on the way, and her arm, through her shirt, was DRENCHED in sweat. I say, "oh, hun, you're drenched in sweat! Let's get you to the office!"
We get to the office, I open the door for her, and she says, "Where can I sit down, I need to sit down?" So I put my arms around her and sat her in the nearest chair, and she says, "I can't see, my eyes are all funny" and her eyes go grey, so I'm like, "put your head down, put your head between your legs, okay, Abbey?" and I start rubbing her back, and looking around for someone who can help.
I call the receptionist over (the nurse is only in on alternating days), and she gets an ice pack to put on the back of her neck, and asks her some questions... and says to me, "you can go back now, I've got her... it's probably a case of the Flu."
And I went straight to the bathroom, where I washed my hands throughly. Gosh, I hope I don't get the flu, and that Abbey's okay. I went to see her to give her her books about 20 minutes later and she was laying down in the nurse's office, waiting for her mother. She said she felt better, except her stomach was feeling really funny.
